How do I sign up for an Azimo account?
To use Azimo for the first time, you'll need to set up an account using your email address, Facebook or Google Plus account. You can do this via the Azimo website or smartphone app. This will only take a couple of minutes and your details will be saved so you can send money when you want without having to re-enter your information. All your details are completely secure and won’t be shared with anyone else. And remember, joining Azimo is completely free.
How does Azimo keep its fees so low?
Azimo's charges are up to 85% lower than those of high-street banks or traditional providers offering the same service. Unlike high-street banks and other currency exchange services, Azimo only works online and on mobiles. This cuts the need for expensive offices and branches and reduces costs. Azimo is also a company founded by and employing migrants, so they understand the importance of a reliable and low-cost money transfer service. Azimo believes that their customers should keep as much of their hard-earned money as possible, which means they should only charge a reasonable and transparent fee.
How safe is Azimo?
Keeping your money safe is Azimo's number one priority. Azimo is regulated as an electronic money provider by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As part of this regulation, they are required to hold all of their customers’ funds in fully segregated client accounts with trusted global institutions. Azimo’s own operating accounts are stored completely separately. In other words, your funds could never be used to settle Azimo's business affairs.
Azimo Business Transfers
Azimo recently also launched Azimo Business which is a fast, convenient and low-cost international payment platform for businesses. With this service, businesses can send up to 250,000 GBP or equivalent in a single transfer with no monthly limits. Payments can be made with a bank transfer or with a corporate debit or credit card (with no extra card fee).
