What is State Bank of India (SBI)? An introduction

State Bank of India (SBI) is a multinational banking and financial services company based in India. It is a government-owned corporation with its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

SBI Remittance service functions under the International Banking Group of State Bank of India, located at Mumbai. It is a web based product for remittances from Overseas to India by Non Resident Indians and others. Money transfers are facilitated through a safe and secure channel and can be tracked through every stage of the transaction.
