What is ThamelRemit? An introduction

ThamelRemit is an Internet-based platform provided by Everest Bank Ltd in joint partnership with Times of Money promoted by Thamel Dot com Pvt. Ltd. The platform uses ACH (Automated Clearing House Network) to send credit payments to companies or individuals in Nepal. All transactions are verified through stringent KYC and AML policies ensure compliance set by U.S. Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, NACHA, CHAPS and BACS and strict guidelines set by Everest Bank Ltd.

Thamel Remit is Nepal's first and only direct remittance platform that connects local financial institution directly to the end customer authorizing payment. Unlike other remittance service providers, there are no middlemen in the US. Thamel Remit is the cheapest and the most efficient remittance platform between US and Nepal. The money moves completely through formal banking networks between USA and Nepal.
