My transfer was cancelled without any prior warning or notification. When I contacted customer support I was told that it was cancelled because I did not provide needed identification documents on time, however these identification documents were not requested of me (customer support admitted that they did not send a request for these documents). Support was subsequently refusing to complete the transfer, insisting that I should start a new transfer, even though exchange rates changes and the delay with the transfer have caused me to lose hundreds of dollars. Their support acknowledged that the cancellation was due to an error on their part, but were unwilling to complete the original transaction (I did not ask for any compensation for the damages due to the delay, only for them to respect the original exchange rate that they "guaranteed" at the time I made the transfer online). Currently I have lost my trust that if Wise makes a mistake with the transfer they will own up to it and correct their mistakes. Furthermore, they have so far refused to tell me how I should provide the needed identification documents, and so I cannot trust that any further transfers will go through. If you decide to use their services, I recommend you make sure that you have backup plans in case of delays and exchange rate hikes that might occur if they unexpectedly and unilaterally cancel the transfer.
